I-Café Pilipinas, PayMyCafe Sign MoU

I-Café Pilipinas signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PayMyCafe during the soft launching of Pilipinas I-Café Consumer Cooperative last July 28, 2010 at Philippine Trade Training Center in Pasay City. The MoU provides for the collaboration in the roll-out and implementation of the business model of PayMyCafe through road shows and events to be organized by I-Café Pilipinas. The promotion and adoption of the PayMyCafe business opportunities by Internet café owners will be carried out  through their local Internet café associations. The collaborative effort is in line with the initiative of I-Café Pilipinas to look for business models that could augment the present income of i-cafés.

PayMyCafe with its business of pre-selling Internet café time to its customers in the United States of America and other parts of the world is looking for individual Internet café owners with whom it need to tie-up and pay for the computer rent of the local beneficiaries of its pre-sold Internet café time. The start-up company believes that its business model can be better managed if they will course the identification and appointment of participating Internet cafés through local Internet café associations. PayMyCafe will pay higher for the computer usage time of its i-café partners on transactions which will be monitored online.

I-Café Pilipinas, for its part, believe that PayMyCafe can help i-café owners to have more customers and better income. With increased rate for its computer rent, it is hoped that an i-café would have added income that it could flow back to the business for it have better facilities that could justify better prices for all its services.
