What’s in store for the participants of Idea Camp I-Café?

First up let me tell you about our event partners. Idea Camp I-Café is brought to you by Cubinet Interactive, Cyber City Teleservices (Phils) Inc and Asian Tech Red Fox. Get to know of the latest in online gaming and computer hardware set up through the displays of Cubinet Interactive and Asian Tech Red Fox . Be updated on the latest technology available that would suit your internet café.; Mr. Oscar Desiderio III promised to bring along his 4 in 1 CPU computing for the rest of the participants to see.

The program is divided into two parts:  the Morning Session is for the I-Café Owners Talk Back – a sharing session with a panel of internet café owners who volunteered to share their experiences as an internet café owner.  Panelists includes:
  • Mr. Bien Balajadia – Bien in ULOP
  • Mr. Oscar Desiderio III - Netguides
  • Mr. Troy Lim
  • Ms. Maria Remily Tuboro

Finishing off the morning session will be the presentation of Cubinet Interactive about the next generation of online gaming. No installation required and no messier updates. Use only your web browser to enjoy the games that you play.

The afternoon session would be as fulfilling when I-Café Pilipinas presents its various business models that the internet café owners could participate in and have additional revenues for their cafes:
  • Internet Café as a Call Center Recruitment Area – a collaborative project between Cyber City Teleservices (Phils) Inc, a pioneer in the call center industry in the country and I-Café Pilipinas which aims in providing employment opportunities in the call center industry directly at the community level.  Learn how it would bring in additional customers to your i-cafe and an additional source of income as well.
  • Internet Café as Center for Education and Excellence – Ms. Aileen Apolo de Jesus, the Country Consultant of Google, will talk about how to cater to the educational needs of your customers through the use of Google’s Online Tools for Education and Collaboration.
  • National I-Café Cooperative – Empowering the community through the proper access and use of ICT – Mr. John Macasio, Strategic Management Consultant of Redfox Technology, will talk about the framework of the National I-Café Cooperative, a business model to professionalize the service delivery, improve business sustainability and expand product portfolio of micro, small and medium-sized Internet cafes, computer service centers, community e-centers and likes.  At the end of the session it is hoped that the core group for the National I-Cafe Cooperative would be formed to act as an active distributor for computer hardware and ICT services at the community level.
Hope to see everybody tomorrow and actively participate in the various activities of Idea Camp I-Café.
