I-Café Pilipinas Holds Its First Annual Meeting

Established only in late August 2009, the I-Café Pilipinas convenors had its first annual meeting in accordance to its By-Laws last May 8, 2010. The meeting was held at Redfox Conference Room, 4th Floor, Golden Building, 1465 E. Rodriguez Avenue, Quezon City. The First Annual Meeting of I-Café Pilipinas, the non-profit national advocacy organization of the Internet café industry in the country was presided by Ed Zafra as its chairman. The meeting dwelt mainly on what the organization has accomplished from September 2009 until April 2010 and a report on the matter is uploaded to Slideshare.net.

Prominent among the accomplishments of I-Café Pilipinas are the events it organized in collaboration with various stakeholders in the Internet café industry as well as those in the  field of information and communications technology (ICT). The events organized by I-Café Pilipinas as well

Devoid of any financial gain in any of its past activities, the convenors of I-Café Pilipinas decided to pursue its advocacy job to pave the way to a better Internet café industry in the country by way of seeking ways to empower its stakeholders socially and economically. I-Café Pilipinas knows that there is still so much to be done but it vows not to waver on its pursuit for a better i-café industry in the country.
