Microsoft I-Café Program At The 2nd MICAS

Microsoft Philippines confirms its participation in the Second Mindanao Internet Café Associations Summit (2nd MICAS) to be held on February 18 and 19, 2010 at The Event Centre, SM City-Davao in Davao City. The software company will expound on the Microsoft I-Café Program which it recently launched to provide one-time, all-time low on license costs of Windows operating system and Office productivity suite. The initiative is aimed at giving the i-café owners the opportunity to legalize their unlicensed software as well as get long-term programs and partner support from the largest software development company in the world. The program offers secure and dependable computing in licensing packages that are relevant and affordable for Internet café owners who are looking to serve their customers better.

In its website, Microsoft describes the I-Café Program as its response to one of Internet café customers' unmet needs for secure and dependable computing experience in a shared PC space.
